Millie Tran - Assistant Accompanist

Millie is a student currently attending Llanishen High School. She has a deep passion for music, and she has been playing the piano since the age of 5.  Millie is currently working towards her grade 8 piano. Alongside piano, Millie also plays the cello, which she started studying aged 7. Millie has currently completed her GCSEs. Although planning her future, Millie always finds time to enjoy music. 

Millie has accompanied Risca Male Choir on a few occasions, most notably at Risca Male Choir’s annual concert in October 2023 performing an arrangement by Harold Arlen of Somewhere over the Rainbow. She also accompanied the choir at the wedding of Tomos Gwyn, former Music Director of RMC.

In May 2024, Mille appeared in the RMC and MeN Do Sing 24’s charity concert. She accompanied the MND choir in a one-off performance of its two debut items.
